Alexander Gottfarb (archipelago/derbetrieb) is looking for 2 dancers with experience in voice work for a period of work between 1-8.12.2024 (residency outside of Vienna) + 10.2-5.4.2025 in Vienna.
At Der Betrieb, a space for dance in the 15th district, we create long durational dance works rooted in, but not exclusive to contemporary dance. Our voice and movement practice is based on principles of repeating and transforming.
We are looking for dancers with extensive improvisational and compositional skills, that are very comfortable with using their own voice as a performative tool.
We welcome Vienna based performers of all ages, identities and backgrounds.
Deadline for application is the 20th of May.
Please include a CV of no more than 1 A4 page and maximum 3 links to video material. The audition is being held in Vienna on the 18th and 19th of June with half of the invited performers participating per day.
