ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival offers further education and training programmes for dancers and choreographers in order to provide possibilities to deepen their personal knowledge and skills, investigate new trends within contemporary dance and performance, network with fellow dance makers, teachers and artists or work extensively on a project.

Summer Academy: Networking and Immersion

ImPacT was developed especially for dance students (and recent graduates). It brings the participants into contact with various aesthetic approaches in teaching, performing and other related fields. They will get to know the world of dance, establish their own networks and think about possible career choices, with the aim of prompting a process of self-reflection about their future as dance artists. To facilitate this, ImPulsTanz provides spaces for discussion, networking and intensive exchange with peers and mentor Kerstin Kussmaul. In addition to participating in workshops and watching performances, the programme includes events designed to meet choreographers, teachers and organisers of the festival.
