Climate Change as Class War (Reading Group)

adO/Aptive

is a collective based in Vienna. It foments critical thinking, potential action, communication and Otherness by adopting techniques to situate adaptive processes. It was founded in 2019 as a reading group organised at the artspace school. Since then, adO/Aptive has organised events like conferences (rA/Upture conference, OFF-Bienniále Budapest) or workshops and worked on collective art projects at the intersection of performance, theory and speculation.

Climate Change as Class War (Reading Group)

In preparation for Matthew T. Huber’s lecture, an adO/Aptive Reading Group will take place in the TQW library. The core theses of his book Climate Change as Class War, published by Verso in 2022, will be worked out and discussed while reading together.

Texts will be provided on-site; no preparation is required.
