„Friendship in this sense is both a set-up for working and a dimension of production.“ — Céline Condorelli
“All we want is the impossible!”, Frans Poelstra and Alix Eynaudi postulate. Together with a group of artists they will indulge in an unreal time composition for two weeks and will share a performance with the audience at the end of the improvisation laboratory.
We are all experts in friendship. We all know how to dance. Friends in action: we will practice friendship as a form of solidarity, a way of committing ourselves with The Things — be it readings, dances, writings, smells, each other. During the second week of the lab we will take the chance to make The Things public, thus befriending the odd situation of dancing in front of people.
With Claire Lefèvre, Karine Blanche, Alex Bailey, Mzamo Nondlwana, Alix Eynaudi, Frans Poelstra
Guests: Sabina Holzer, Christine Gaigg, Robert Steijn, Madalina Diaconu, Vera Rosner

From 1996 she danced for Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s company Rosas for a total of seven years. Since then, Alix Eynaudi has created works of her own, often with a markedly poetic touch, some in collaboration with Alice Chauchat, Agata Maszkiewicz and Mark Lorimer, who co-created the piece Monique with her, which was inspired by bondage. Alix Eynaudi has been touring with Exit, an artistic research project on sleep, developed in collaboration with Kris Verdonck since 2011. The world premiere of her homage to Viennese modernism, Edelweiß, took place at TQW in 2015. Her most recent work, Chesterfield, was shown at brut/Austrian Museum of Folk Life and Folk Art in 2017.
