DJ set/Performance
Susie Flowers, La Terre’ and Sheezus H. Christin

Closing Party

Susie Flowers

is a queer visual artist, performer, DJ, model and party organiser. Essential elements of her art are queerness, feminism, self-expression, and the smashing of gender stereotypes. She draws inspiration from the colourful fashion, art and music from the 1960s and 1970s, as well as from acquaintances she meets during her nightlife outings.

Luis Murillo Zuñiga aka La Terre’

is an actress, dancer, singer, writer, visual artist, and booty shaker who hails from Costa Rica to the world. By using several elements from their background in the performing arts, they create a pastiche of moments and images of passion based on their lived experiences as a queer Central American immigrant in the Global North.

Sheezus ‘Herr Rum Hurn’ Christin

is a performance, makeup and fibre artist based in Vienna and a member of the queer-feminist art collective Haus of Rausch, with whom they organise drag shows and parties. Sheezus focuses his work on themes like gender, sex, and mental health and expresses himself through his surreal makeup looks, outfits and seductive stage presence.

Closing Party

Having shared the stage a few times before, Sheezus H. Christin, La Terre’ and Susie Flowers harmonise to create an evening you won’t forget so fast. Tightly woven into Vienna’s queer performance scene, the three artists have an eclectic repertoire of performances and DJ sets. For the closing party of the Winter School, they invite you to watch, have a drink, relax, and dance, as you won’t be able to stand still with the sounds of La Terre’ and Susie Flowers. Fused into the DJ sets, they have prepared surprise performances bringing Vienna’s queer drag scene a little closer to TQW. Let them eat bourgeoiss!!!
