TQW DOC+
Starting this semester, TQW DOC+ will also be open to theorists who want to distinguish themselves in academia, newcomers and anyone generally interested in discursive formats (with or without degree). PhD and Master’s students from all disciplines will continue to be welcome at the interdisciplinary, inter-university forum on topics concerning choreography, performance, body, art and politics at Tanzquartier Wien. Once a month, this forum gives the opportunity to connect with colleagues from different disciplines and institutions via Zoom. In addition to promoting open debate and the exchange of methods and terminological definitions, there will also be opportunity to present and discuss one’s own research among friends and colleagues in a safe space. In-person gatherings at TQW library will take place in accordance with current Covid rules and regulations.
Thu 07.04.: Together with the CND (Centre National de la Danse) in Pantin and Lyon, we would like to organise a meeting of doctoral students from different European universities / institutions. It will take place on 30.09.2022 in Lyon and gather people from (at least, but not exclusively) Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Hungary and Switzerland. In this session we want to discuss possible topics in order to propose them to the organisation committee at CND.
