Lockdown as of 22 November
Dear audience,
We would like to inform you that due to the current situation and in order to contain the spread of the coronavirus, the Austrian Federal Government has decided on a nationwide lockdown.
For this reason, unfortunately, no events can take place at Tanzquartier Wien until 12 December 2021 for the time being. The box office and the library are closed. Rehearsals at TQW are not affected by the measures. We will therefore continue to work in order to be able to stage performances in front of an audience again as soon as possible.
Performances:
The concert / performance Limina / Sensation 1 – a cooperation with Wien Modern – on 27 / 28 November will be postponed. The new date will be announced as soon as possible.
The performative opera Durst by Linda Samaraweerová and Robert Jíša, scheduled for 03 / 04 December, will be shown as an online premiere on tqw.at in January 2022.
David Moises’ new installation of the Performance Passage (scheduled opening 10 December) will be postponed. The new date will be announced as soon as possible.
Chasing a Ghost by Alexandra Bachzetsis (11 / 12 December) will be postponed. The new date will be announced as soon as possible.
Ticket information:
Tickets for cancelled performances can be returned for a refund of the purchase price until 18 December.
You purchased your tickets online.
The tickets will be automatically cancelled and refunded. We kindly ask for your patience as this process may take some time.
You purchased your tickets at the box office (cash or card).
Tickets can be refunded in cash at the box office as soon as it is open again. If a bank account is provided, the ticket price can also be refunded by bank transfer. If you have any questions, please contact tanzquartier@tqw.at
Body & Performance Practices:
During the lockdown, advanced level formats aimed at dance and performance professionals continue to take place at TQW Studios. In order to participate, the 2,5G rule applies: vaccinated, recovered or PCR-tested. You can find all events here.
