Statement
We are horrified by the terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas. Our thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones, and the Jewish community outside Israel, which has been plunged into grief and fear. We reject any endorsement, trivialisation, or legitimisation of these indescribable atrocities.
We mourn and feel for all civilian victims – both Israeli and Palestinian. Living in peace is the right of all and must be the goal of efforts in this conflict. Let us listen to those voices on both sides who advocate peace instead of terror and war.
