The Animal Instinct practice is an ongoing research project that examines the potential of the human body in motion. The body of work of the Animal Instinct practice incorporates information from various disciplines of movement, offering hundreds of drills and exercises. We provide a broad range of tools borrowed from science as well as art to study our body, to understand movement and communicate physically. Explore basic movement patterns such as waves, spirals and figures of eight. Move across the floor, turn, jump, fall, rise, push, be pushed, support, fly, roll and crawl. Study fixed forms, compose sequences and improvise your own movements. Come to awaken your animal instinct!
