Ballet – classic basic training
The ballet class with Tin Kos is based on exercises at the barre and in the centre. The exercises at the barre provide a basis for the preparation of the body and the basic technique. A perfect, vertical axis, which will be achieved by centering the body, should always be held when changing the height of space, regardless if one stands on one leg or two. Furthermore, the movements of the legs, arms and of the head will be exercised precisely in different spatial directions. In the centre, we will repeat several body placements but with changes of directions and places. The step sequences are divided in the following categories: adagio, pirouettes and allegro. For this, we will put together all the exercises that we did at the barre and in the centre, transforming them into short choreographies.
