This training runs from 25 till 29 March and from 1 till 5 April 2019.

How can we physically acquire and experience theoretical knowledge? In Embodied Practices, Lisbeth Bitto seeks embodied perspectives on the body and a training that uses both theoretical knowledge and proprioceptive perception as reference points for movement research. In exercises and discussions, this training approaches different body theories, highlights anatomical structures in movement and uses somatic approaches and repetitive motion patterns to sharpen body-awareness. Based on this research, a movement vocabulary is developed so that everyone can explore their in resources, possibilities and limitations. Embodied Practices is a physically and mentally challenging training that invites you to critically question and rediscover familiar patterns of thinking and movement.
