Sofiia Matsevko

studied at the Mayway Dance Centre in Kyiv and worked there and at D.Side Dance Studio as a teacher for over six years. Her styles include contemporary, floorwork and choreography. She was a 2019 finalist in ‘I Am Choreographer’ and worked with artists such as Jerry Heil, ILCHY, OSMAK and TARUSOVA.

Contemporary

This workshop takes place as part of In Solidarity with Ukraine.

In my classes, we will learn to feel and control our bodies. It is an exciting process to answer the question: ‘How can I dance?’ We will work with different kinds of music, guiding our movements and learning how to be in harmony with it. This class aims at finding new opportunities in ourselves with the tools that I will offer. Our main goal is to dance so that you can enjoy yourself!
