Experiential Yoga

 
Linda Samaraweerová

graduated from P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels in 2002. She has been closely collaborating with visual artist Karl Karner since 2004. Their joint performances continue to challenge choreographic strategies in various contexts and invariably transgress the boundaries between performing arts and visual arts.

Linda Samaraweerová has been studying directly under Indian scientist, physician and Yogacharya Dr M. V. Bhole since 2011 and has been teaching yoga at various institutions in Austria. In the intensive years of study with Dr Bhole in India and Europe she has reached a deeper understanding of the ancient Indian philosophy and its practical approach.

Experiential Yoga

This yoga training focuses on the aspect of experience and the personal understanding that results from an internal experience gained during the physical training. Practising the different postures (asanas) aims to reach a better understanding of the internal processes that take place during and after holding a position. The physical shape is thus not primarily developed and maintained from outside following visual instruction but from the information we receive through practice. A precise training including specific parameters that help us work in accordance with our own body awareness.
