Like most Feldenkrais classes we will be following the teachings of Moshe Feldenkrais rediscovering lessons from the vast material he left us to work with.
Practicing Feldenkrais can give us a deeper sense of connection within our body. It can give us deeper awareness to the details of our individual movements as well as to our whole self. With deeper awareness we can improve the quality of our movements both consciously and unconsciously. With practice, it becomes possible to experience the self as fully involved in doing and acting. Unity and simplicity of movement are the bases of our exploration. When there is no separation between the intention and the movement, our self-expression becomes direct and uninhibited; effortlessness, grace and beauty arise. We adapt to the field of gravity with ease and self-evidence. Creativity sparks from every move we make and from every step we take.
studied Industrial Design at the University of Applied Arts and completed further trainings in Contemporary Dance and the Feldenkrais Method in Vienna. She has created different projects, some of those in the field of contemporary dance. She started the Feldenkrais training with Donna Ray and Sascha Krausneker after a training injury, but also because she was fascinated by learning to sense deeper and by discovering more connections within her body.
Marcella Pascal is interested in exploring awareness, quality of movement, and quality of touch. As a graduate and certified Feldenkrais practitioner she now gives group lessons and individual lessons in the Feldenkrais Method.
This training runs from 29 May thru 26 June 2019.
