Flow like water
During the classes, we will focus on the relationship between the body, space, and floor. We will improvise solo and with a partner along specific tasks to find characteristic movement qualities, connections between limbs and spine and organic articulation. Besides improvisation and partner work, we will learn technical movements and sequences in standing and using the ground. When learning movements, we will focus on finding a balance between effort and release to do them smoothly and effortlessly. To achieve that, we will engage the body’s centre and use natural momentum.
