INTO THE FOLD

In this four hour workshop we will explore different strategies for undoing and queering one’s body. We will share physical practices, texts and questions from our research for our choreographic work SKINFOLD and facilitate a space in which we might allow ourselves and each other to shift our bodily perceptions and internal / external gaze. We will work with physical states such as embodiment of flesh as a landscape as well as strategies for potential shirtlessness.

This workshop is for FLINTA* (Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-Binary, Trans, Asexual) participants only.

We ask participants to bring loose shirts and something to take notes in if needed. In case of specific access needs, or questions relating to the content of the workshop, participants are welcome to contact the artists beforehand by emailing: training@tqw.at
