Movement Intelligence (MI)
The Movement Intelligence (MI) practice weaves together discursive inquiry and physical exploration of movement, in a search for a greater understanding of the human experience. The practice challenges stylistic and traditional notions of “technique” and examines the relationship between first-person experience of motion and its empirical expression, and cultural norms that govern our understanding of the body/mind and its potential.
The body of work of MI offers applicable information from various movement disciplines and cultivates a tolerant space to examine ideas and engage in verbal and physical communication.
