What is proposed in this morning practice are different actions/exercises to develop from consciousness a material that leads to the succession of movements through space without letting judgment intervene in the realisation of the movement. In my years as a pedagogue, I see more and more how the dancer is in an internal search for what we could call ‘personal movement’.
For each individual, there is a whole universe, his*her universe. For this reason, during the workshop, we will go through small brushstrokes of theatre and interpretation in order to be able to disinhibit ourselves more and acquire a state reflected only through movement and not through an aesthetic or a superficiality that does not generate any kind of emotion.
is the director of IN-motus co. and calls himself an artist without a label. He defines himself as a dancer and choreographer, developing his movement from a technique he calls ‘muscular awareness’. He is passionate about any form of expression that deepens the individual’s sensitivity. He began his training within the world of urban dances, training both in Spain and New York and working on projects such as Brodas Bros or DBlock, among others. At the same time, he studied contemporary dance in countries such as Belgium, France, Spain and Germany and at CobosMika Seeds (Palamós), Varium (Barcelona) and Deltrebre Dansa. On a professional level, he has been a dancer for some of the most important companies in Catalonia and Spain. He has been working with Cia. Lali Ayguadé (Hidden, U an mi, Kokoro, Saba), Roser López Espinosa (Novembre), Ziomara Hormaetxe (Biopiracy), and Cia. CobosMika (O.T.A., Scrakeja’t). The repertoire of his own dance company features works such as Disconnect, Liov, Coma & Silenzio.
