oh my friends …

Alix Eynaudi

lives and works in Vienna. She was trained as a ballet dancer in the Paris Opera. She worked in various ballet companies before entering P.A.R.T.S. when the school first opened in Brussels. In 1996, Eynaudi then joined Anna Teresa De Keersmaeker’s company Rosas where she worked for seven years. Since 2005 Eynaudi has been creating her own pieces. Currently she is working on a Salon/Studio, a dance and writing atelier, Noa + Snow, that takes place monthly since October 2018 at the Volkskundemuseum in Vienna.

Besides creating her own work, Eynaudi continues to develop projects with other artists, both as a collaborator and a performer. She takes part in pieces by Superamas, Kris Verdonck, Anne Juren, Boris Charmatz, and Jennifer Lacey. Eynaudi’s artistic practice also involves teaching workshops a. o. at P.A.R.T.S., Brussels, ImPulsTanz, Vienna, in Reykjavík, at Panetta Movement Centre, New York, HEAD, Geneva, and La Manufacture, Lausanne.

oh my friends …

Let’s look at dance as a liberating act and an act of faith, and at our body as a place of social responsibility.

Let’s look at our co-workers, colleagues, friends-in-dance as friends.

Let’s think about friendship as we dance.

This work works in pairs, we’ll shift role. And clothes. And smells.

We’ll literally look at the expertise that we gather. And displace it.

Make way for imagination and civility!
