co-fabulations with plants, stones and organs as relational improvisation and physical reading
Claudia Bosse

is a choreographer, director and artist. She lives in Vienna and Berlin and is the artistic director of theatercombinat. Her work focuses on different forms of violence, history and utopia, recently in collaboration with non-human beings. She thinks of her expansive choreographies in space as art works created by temporary communities, which incorporate myths, rituals, texts, language, choruses and objects. She has presented this poetic, site-specific practice of bodies in space at festivals, museums, in architectural settings and in public spaces all over the world. Her artistic practice includes installations, choreographies of space and public interventions. As a researcher, she has held many workshops and has lectured at several academies and universities.

practice of oracle/s

co-fabulations with plants, stones and organs as relational improvisation and physical reading

If actions have consequences and leave traces, what kind of traces can we find in living beings and our environment, in things that surround us? How can these readings evolve into movement that extends our bodies?

This open level workshop focuses on being with others (with body/ies and voice/s) through mimeses of surrounding beings, through materials, processes and events and their different temporalities. We will experiment with organic and inorganic dynamic processes and use our bodies for micro- and macrocosmic readings of living beings, organs and material phenomena from other dimensions of time.
