practicing dreaming
The workshop is an invitation to practise (collective) dreaming, to weave dreams in a shared space and to explore their performative potential. During the three days I will propose exercises and scores to recall, activate and transform dream material through words, movement and touch. We will work with night dreams as well as with images that the body permanently produces. The work is intended to train our dreaming body, for example with subtle or diffuse attentiveness, cellular listening or unrestrained dancing. The exercises are based on various somatic approaches such as Authentic Movement, Cranio-Sacral Biodynamics, Saphire Technique (School of Images) and psychoanalysis. Feel free (and invited!) to bring dreams in the form of texts, objects or clothing.

Based on dream and somatic practices, she explores drawing and writing as performative instruments, (re)examines (collective) work processes, bodies and the unconscious as poetic (and responsive) landscapes. She co-creates experimental and site-specific formats and performances. Agnes completed the post-master’s programme a.pass in Brussels in 2017, and her work has been supported by residency and production grants from BMKOES, Stadt Wien Kultur and various institutions and organizations such as brut Wien, Bears in the Park, Im_flieger, Raw Matters, eindorf, among others.
