Repeat and Transform

The first part of the training focuses on breathing, circular movements and repetition, all in a simple structure that enables the participant to concentrate on the execution of the movements. The exercises have been collected and developed for the purpose of preparing the body for a work day, regardless of what might come. The intensity can be individually adapted according to the daily state of the body and the environment it will act in.

In the second part, Alexander Gottfarb will share his choreographic practice based on repetition and transformation. Tools and approaches will be shared to enable the practitioner an autonomous relation to the practice. No previous specific technical training is required, however a desire to move and a curiosity for the sensations of the body is key since we engage in the practice over longer durations.
