Scratching the Script

This is an invitation to radically unite the experience of dancing with writing. We will explore various ways of combining verbal thinking with intensities, feelings and underlying thoughts that emerge from the sensitivity of our dancing bodies, and we will look into feelings by means of scribbling and poetic actions. We will play with translations and examine the “materiality of writing” according to Derrida: “All that inscribes itself is writing.” In that sense, the term “writing” goes beyond verbal language and makes contact with the environment and the conditions in which a person or a thing exists. Which in turn makes us aware of the space and the possibility to design a landscape together. By listening, moving and writing we engage with each other, look into our dreams and visions and develop our co-existences.
