Tai Ki Kung / San Feng. Inner Freedom and Creative Potential

Tai Ki Kung / San Feng is a little-known, unique style of Tai Chi from southern China. Basic training comprises two forms: the father form and the mother form. The father form consists of two parts: the “nine little heavens”, focusing on the joints which are important energetic centres in the body, and the “nine palaces”, which combine work on breathing, balance and the principle of grounding. The principles of fullness and emptiness as well as breathing and grounding are central themes in this training. The practice of Tai Ki Kung helps detect and change old movement patterns and postural habits, find a deep inner freedom and unfold creative potential. Other benefits are: the properties of tendons change, joints are released, muscles are strengthened and the synergy of the organs is stimulated. This releases blockages, which in turn enables the energy to flow freely again in the body.
