The Subtle Body

A Hatha Yoga Practice

In this class, we will concentrate, first and foremost, on the organisation of the limbs and the body’s natural form of moving, combined with beneficial and restorative applications, promoting awareness and focus on the physical body.

Esther Balfe started Yoga in 1995 – after a major knee injury, she realised that if she continued in the same way, her dance journey would very likely be somewhat shortened. After changing her practice from pure dance-based applications to include yoga, the reward has meant she has been able to keep up performing to the present day. Esther has been a yoga practitioner for the last 27 years and has danced internationally in the contemporary dance sphere for three decades which is attributable to her practice.
