Your trouble is my trouble is your trouble

This workshop consists of physical training, composition exercises and performative drafts. Each day will end with a discussion and/or a guided sensory journey. We will work with the concept of trouble through attention, presence, proximity, touch, weight, movements, acts, psycho-somatic states, affect and response-ability. The concept and the exercises are informed by a strong interest in the emotional body and its presence in the act of dancing and performing.

For this workshop no previous dance of performance experience is needed. If you feel hesitant to participate but recognise an interest, come and decide on the spot how intensively you want to participate. There is space and time to address needs and questions during the workshop.

Lau Lukkarila held a TQW Training Scholarship in 2018.
