ABGESAGT: PLEASURE – encountering queer agents

Marcus Fisch

After touring as a performer for Romeo Castellucci / Societas, Marcus completed a degree in social sciences in Vienna. Since then, he has been searching for entanglements of dance, theory, and somatic techniques. His roots are in the psychoanalytic approach of surplus enjoyment and in queer feminism, such as the new materialist Donna Haraway and quantum physicist Karen Barad. In addition, he works as a movement educator for people with/out dis_abilities and in the psychosocial setting.

ABGESAGT: PLEASURE – encountering queer agents

+++ Dieser Workshop muss leider abgesagt werden. Wir bedauern. +++

Pleasure is a reference point for the engagement with bodies and identities. Sometimes it is even banned under the guise of morality. Or it is seen as a hopeful escape from oppression but then risks becoming blurred under the command, „Enjoy!“ So let’s try to free enjoyment from the flood of information that dictates how bodies should appear or function. Various limitations will inspire us to lure poetic paths of sensing and moving and locate intimacy as an unexpected agency. Thus, we will draw witty lines between text, (hi)stories, dance, objects, and magical anatomies to unleash some vibrant inner matter. Open to all curious bodies, with:out dis:abilities. No limits on practice or knowledge
